Newsletter #108: PYGOD – MANIFESTO 2024

It’s weird to see how all things can come back in circle. It feel like I’m reliving the end of 2020 once again. It seem that my 2020-2021 vision of myself as a Mass Uploader x Brand Owner x Fine Artist is becoming a reality.

My Satans Schlongs Art project was set aside because its website didn’t had any traffic. And I was fuckin’ tired, as it was downright ridiculous, of having to censor everything I was posting on @SatansSchlongs Instagram “page”. This IG page is just one of the many reasons why I avoid to mention any of my numerous social media accounts and pages.

Despite a couple of half-assed attempts at getting good at Instagram (because it is what you are supposed to do. Right?) and daily spamming of my Twitter/X account (the only remaining censorship-free platform thanks to Elon. Exceptions may apply!). I still have a disdain for social media, their rules, and their fuckin’ censorship (Their platform. Their rules). Furthermore than now, I have my own platform with my own traffic (thanks to a lot of boobs).

So the only logical thing to do was/is to transfert my Satans Schlongs Artworks into PYGear.com, my home.

Double down 10X down on what’s work and stop trying to follow conventional wisdom on how you’re “supposed” to do things. Since what’s work for someone probably won’t work for you. Some things naturally and organically come easier than others.

What’s really work for me:

• Investing and saving Money.
• Creating.

• Print-On-Demand (Mass Uploading). Selling my designs on other’s people platform/marketplace and mine (right here on PYGear.com)
• NSFW and ‘As Worn By’ T-Shirt designs. That’s what works for me!
• Getting traffic (eyeballs👀) with Boobs. You‘ve got to give the people what they want!

What doesn’t work for me:

• Social media. Why bother with other’s people platform? Aside from collecting royalties aka passive income from POD marketplaces.
• Salesy email marketing. It seems to be the only way to do for everybody else but me.
• Affiliate marketing. I prefer, and I’m better at, selling my own stuff!

Will my Artsy Fartsy project gets off the tracks? Or is it just a shiny object, a distraction that I badly need at the end of every years? Probably linked to the year end blues or some kind of seasonal/shorten daylight/ winter, bipolar shit?! I know I’m creative and can produce real Fine Art… But at the end of the day, you got a finite amount of time and you gotta pay the bills. So, if there is a demand for Satans Schlongs there will be Satans Schlongs. It’s completely different that what I do to make a living. Mass Uploading T-Shirt designs so some of them can make sales.

With Satans Schlongs, its all about building a brand around my Artworks (some can take more than 10 hours to make) printed on the very best garments I have access to, while using the same very best manufacturer and offering the same excellent customer service to my clientele. All these beautiful Art Prints and Wearable Works of Art will come with an higher price point. Normal, its my heart and soul that you will wear on your body and hang to your walls.
