PURE ARTIST: uncorrupted by art school or any traditional art education. Yes, I am! I’m fully self-taught. Me and my parents never wanted me to take drawing lessons fearing that it will soil my natural talent as a child prodigy. I’m still thinking the same way to these days.

Jean-Michel Basquiat is an example of Outsider Art. As a dead artist, one of his ArtWorks was sold for $110 Million.

In my case, as far as I can remember, it was the first time time that I’ve draw without a thematic. I’ve made this one without any reference, no eraser, no sketching… At first, I hated it. But them, I’ve somewhat enjoyed it while coloring it.

Usually, I try to create the perfect Artwork according to the thematic I have in mind. But with this ArtWork, it was free-for-all!
It was interesting. I’ve already have an other free-for-all ArtWork in mind.
Sure, I can be a lot more productive this way. Instead of waiting for inspiration (a thematic) to strike.
