Who is Gal Gadot?

Gal Gadot is a talented actress and former Miss Israel who is best known for her portrayal of Wonder Woman in the DC Extended Universe.

Born on April 30, 1985 in Rosh HaAyin, Israel, Gadot stands at 5’10” and weighs around 121 pounds. Her measurements are 34-24-34 inches. Her shoe size is 10 US.

Before her acting career took off, Gadot served in the Israeli Defense Forces for two years (2005-2007) as a Combat Instructor. The above Maxim’s picture was taken in 2007 when she was 21 years old for a photoshoot named “Women of the Israeli Army”.

Gadot is a black belt in both karate and krav maga and an avid martial artist. Her martial arts helped land her the role of Wonder Woman.

Gal was crowned Miss Israel 2004, but finished unplaced at Miss Universe 2004 pageant. After completing her service in the military, she began studying law and international relations at IDC Herzliya College in Tel Aviv.

Gadot’s acting career began in 2007 with a small role in the Israeli TV series “Bubot.” She went on to appear in several other Israeli shows and films before breaking into the international scene with her role as Gisele Yashar in the “Fast and Furious” franchise.

In 2016, Gadot was cast as Wonder Woman in the DC Extended Universe, beginning with a cameo in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and then starring in her own standalone film, “Wonder Woman,” which was released in 2017. The film was a critical and commercial success, grossing over $821 million worldwide and receiving widespread praise for Gadot’s performance.

Gadot reprised her role as Wonder Woman in the 2017 film “Justice League” and will return as the character in the upcoming film “Wonder Woman 1984.” In addition to her role in the DC Extended Universe, Gadot has also starred in other films such as “Criminal,” “Keeping Up with the Joneses” and “Ralph Breaks the Internet.”
