Can a YouTuber Ever Hit 1 Billion Subscribers?
In the YouTube video “Can a YouTuber Ever Hit 1 Billion Subscribers?” by Hoser, the creator explores the unlikely feasibility, as of August 28, 2022, of any individual or brand YouTuber reaching the astronomical milestone of 1 billion subscribers.
1 billion is a crazy number, especially for subscribers on a YouTube channel. We’ve seen some channels hit 100 million, but can they multiply that by 10 and hit 1 billion subs? Let’s look at 3 channel types with the potential to hit 1 billion subscribers.
The 4 types of channel are:
- Indian media companies. T-Series (the largest YouTube channel at the time with 213 Million subscribers, now 274M) and SET India (131 Million subscribers at the time, now 177M)
- YouTuber YouTubers. Individuals like MrBeast (93.7 Million subscribers at the time, now an unbelievable 317M) and PewDiePie (a stagnated 111 Million subscribers)
- Children content. Cocomelon (130 Million Subscribers, now 183M)
- African content (the chosen one) with a currently unknown YouTube channel. The African equivalent of MrBeast or T-Series.
The perfect blend of American, Indian and African cultures would be even better.
Hoser’s pick is the unknown African YouTuber by 2100. If YouTube’s still here.
Maybe hoser stands a chance to hit 1,000,000,000 subscribers.
Here’s the first comment pinned on top. MrBeast himself.
As of August 28, 2022, MrBeast had 103 million subscribers on his main YouTube channel.
A year later (January 2023), MrBeast answered the question once again.
Not even two years later,
MrBeast has:
The most-subscribed YouTube channel is MrBeast, having 317 Million subscribers as of September 25, 2024,
and gaining an average of about 184,000 subscribers per day.
MrBeast is clearly winning the game of YouTube.
My easy pick:
MrBeast Will Have Over 1,000,000,000 Subscribers by the End of 2020s!!!
It gave me an idea!💡
Should I translate PYGear.com in Indian and African languages?🤓
