A little history on Pyrex Vision: During the HBA, Been Trill, Black Scale era, Virgil Abloh launched his brand Pyrex. The brand picked up traction when big names in fashion and music wore some of the brand’s staple pieces.

Eventually the cookware/food storage company which the brand name was based off of, hit Virgil with a cease and desist which led to him consulting A$AP Rocky and A$AP Twelvyy on what he should change the name to.

Twelvyy landed on “Off-White” because one would use a Pyrex dish to cook crack which has an off-white color to it.
Some sources claim that the explanation behind the name change is because the brand is the gray area between black and white to the fashion world hence, off-white.
